特に「ヒカルには恋愛感情/性欲が無く、人間とは違う方法で愛着を持つ」という設定について「彼はまだ未熟だから理解出来ないだけ」とコメントが来たこともあったのですが、ヒカルはそうではないですね。 だからといって「彼はよしきにとってただのペットみたいなもの」というのも少し違う気がしますね。

作中でヒカルを動物や子どもに例えることがありますが、実際のところヒカルはペットでも未熟な子どもでも無く、ただ人間の文化や常識が通用しないだけの存在ですね。 日本語を勉強したばかりの海外の人の日本語が日本人から見て幼く可愛く見えることがありますが、実際その人が幼く可愛いわけでは無かったりしますし。
