Some people may see it as Charlie Day and the red string or an overly complicated Taylor Swift song. I see it as the glue that binds us humans together and the simple solution to combat an isolationist self-harm mentality presented as strength. I love finding a mutual connection.

I just spent some time journaling about the productivity of inactivity. Maybe it's just mental gymnastics, but the perceived inactivity of slowing down to attempt to live in the present moment is a skill for me to learn & practice. So then it becomes and accomplishment that I can feel good about.

I've been thinking about New Years resolutions. Pros. Cons. Whether I should make them work for me or not. I love goal setting. I like having something to work toward. I think it's a good thing and helps me change. I also want to be kind to myself avoiding unnecessary & unhelpful stressors.
