❄️ It's getting chilly in our magnet facility ❄️ Our magnets use high-temperature superconductors, which, contrary to the name, actually operate at fairly low temperatures above 77K (-321°F and -196°C). That's why we have complex cryogenic systems to keep our magnets cool. 🥶

The twisted shape of a stellarator needs a magnetic field that’s just as unique. We're developing non-planar magnets equipped with high-temperature superconducting (HTS) technology. The plates shown here are the structural backbone, providing the foundation for our proprietary HTS cables. 🧲
