So my ankle has been turning fun colors since it broke but this morning it manifested a new fun color. It looks like someone colored on it with a bright yellow highlighter and I kinda love it. Sadly, bruises are ephemeral and it’ll change again soon. I guess I’ll just have to see what’s next?

I’ve never been so happy to be in a boot. That splint was awful and while my ankle is still broken it’s healing well enough and this is at least not actively painful.

Did I just have over an hr wait at the drs to get a -single- X-ray of my broken ankle because no one told the tech where I was waiting? Yes. Yes I did. 🤦🏼‍♂️ I have a 2pm meeting after this. I thought a 9am appt was early enough, maybe not lol.

Happy new year to me? Nye tubing up on the mountain and got crashed into so now my ankle is wrapped and I may be heading to get imaging done when we’re back off the mountain Thursday. Weee
