Last week I noticed one vendor selling cherries at the farmers' market; this week there were three. Season's on and I'm celebrating with the first crumble of 2025: cherries w/tucked in tarragon, ¼ cup chopped pistachios added to the topping. Pitting's a fussy job but it smelled terrific as it baked.
