I did some layout mapping for my game world, and while it looks rough AF ... I think "just start it, stupid!", did pay off. I have a perspective I can work with and a rough layout of the points of interest. So all in all, not the worst way to spent the night ^^

I finally booted up Spider-Man 2, and I'm surprised my somewhat dated computer handles it well. And also, it immediately gave me ideas for Spider-Punk poses ... I just need that suit 😅

I sometimes wonder if I'm the only artist that shied away from drawing people (real or fake) for the majority of their art career. I was afraid of getting judged, and in retrospect it was silly and hindered my art progress A LOT. Only thanks to other artists I've been able to get past this barricade

Reminder: "separate the art from the artist" is about literary analysis. It means your interpretation of a work is not invalidated by the author saying "nuh-uh". It does not mean "you can consume any media without guilt". You are responsible for your choices. A misused phrase doesn't change that.
