You don’t need to tell me! My kids are on medication that would cost £70k per year each without the NHS. We wouldn’t be poorer, because we simply wouldn’t be able to afford it, so we would just be battling symptoms instead.

It is chronic underfunding, not management, that has caused the NHS to struggle in recent decades. Until we have a fairer system that reduces wealth inequality via proper taxation of the super rich, public services will crumble and people will become poorer and sicker.
