Am back in Singapore. Landed about an hour and a half ago. Just left the airport after having dinner. Mixed feelings now.

Leaving Jakarta. Thought I would go to the convention venue one last time before leaving the hotel. There's nothing there now, but I had lots of fun here over the weekend. Pics and videos of the convention will be posted when I get home.

Relocated to the convention hotel today. This area is more green than central Jakarta itself. Traffic is... still a thing though.

Jakarta time! Currently in a hotel in the Tanah Abang area. Spent the first day exporing the area. There's a wholesale market here, with 2 entire buildings just selling clothes and textiles.

Off to Iwag! Am in Jakarta, and just cleared airport immigration. Whee~

Avgeek moment. On the way home from my trip, I saw a very special Airbus A350 lining up to take off ahead of our flight. It's a Singapore Airlines in the unique "10000th" livery, to mark the 10000th plane Airbus has built.

Wuff. Am home, and unpacked, mostly. Planning a stream for tomorrow, to talk about my trip. Will update depending on how tired I am. Hah.

It's been a fun 2 weeks, but the adventure has come to an end. Last meal in Japan was ramen. Going to be boarding the flight home shortly. Goodbye for now, Japan. I hope to return soon. I do miss everyone though. Will resume streaming soon~

Day 14. Shopping day. Spent the day getting gifts for friends back home. Stopped by some amusement centers along the way, and they had some really retro stuff, next to modern games.

Day 13. The big adventure, and climax of our trip...

I said I was going to, and I finally had the opportunity. Spotted a 'Vanilla Truck' outside Namba station, in Osaka. This one was parked, but if it's moving, it will play... this: youtu.be/ow6Q0zRa4Xw?...

Day 12. Shopping day! But I did make a trip to the Osaka Art Museum, cause the exhibit there was too tempting to pass up on~

Day 11. We took a trip to Kobe today. Had breakfast before we left! Our first stop, a hot spring outside of Kobe, Arima Onsen. It's a small town nestled on hillsides.

Day 10. It's a bright and sunny Osaka day! We visited the Osaka Castle and the park surrounding it.

Day 9. We went to Nara today! It was an hour by train, but then again, we got onto a "local" train that stopped at every station along the way, so... 28 stops.

I ate fugu / pufferfish, and survived. Whee~

Day 8. Goodbyt Kyoto, you were lovely! Today, we moved to Osaka to continue our adventure! Some shots of Kyoto as we left.

Day 7. Last day in Kyoto. Weather cleared up, so we went to Fushimi Inari. Foxes!

Day 6. It snowed early in the morning, and temperatures hovered around 3-4 Celcius, so we had an indoor day. Went thrifting in Kyoto! Here are some finds. Didn't buy though.

Day 5. Went to Arashimaya, which is famed for its bamboo forest. Started the day with a trip to the train station in Arashimaya, and purchased tickets for the "Romantic Train". And it is something to behold.

Day 4. Gold and Silver Pavilions! Went to the Gold Pavilion first. Was a rainy morning, but the crowds were still massive, and it didn't really spoil the view

Day 3. Rainy day, so TRAIN MUSUEM! There were some old street tram cars in the public park by the museum too! One is pre-war, the other is from the 60s.

Day 2! Started with a shrine visit to Kiyomizu Shrine. Steep sloped street leading up to it though. Cherry blossoms were starting to bloom! Weather started to turn rainy when we departed.
