Every party, every branch of our government has let the American people down. We now, & perhaps for some time, live in an oligarchical machine intended to keep us stupid, silent and working for the 1%. Black and trans communities have been warning us and many didn’t listen. So here we are.

I was looking to find how they chose speakers for a certain UFO festival because I wanted to apply, only to find a post that said, “Who are your ideal speakers at this festival?” And all of the responses were various men on TV. Safe to assume, I’m not what the guests are looking for! 😂

I always imagined a big celebration with friends & family when this movie released. Instead, I’m eating a quesadilla alone at 1am and searching for it on every streaming site just to stare at the words for a bit and move on. Just as happy and proud of the hard work it took to get here, either way.

I’m at the coffee shop listening to two men argue about Christianity. One declared he has a difficult time fighting his agnosticism. I believe he wants to leave the church. The other man called him ornery, & said his issue has nothing to do with Jesus. He replied “I’m just trying to be honest.”

Survived the “Do you do exorcisms?” And “If we say grace, do you pray to a heathen god” holiday dinner conversations from friends of extended family. I can do anything.

Getting back to my channeled drawing again.

I just drove by a cathedral at the exact moment a wedding party cheered on its steps for the bride and groom. I even caught a glimpse of them dipping for a kiss. I’m now on the periphery of that memory. In a way, I think I just time traveled.

I was discussing liminality with a group recently & it hit me how liminal we are right now, not only in the US, but in many ways across the globe. As uncomfortable as it is, we’re not alone. And as liminality occurs amidst a rite of passage, we hold the ability to make much of what’s next anew.

The people who did well on Twitter already doing so well here makes me happy. You left your large following and reach because you felt it was the right thing to do. You deserve to be heard here too.

In mid-October, I broke down. I couldn’t finish anything, post online, work, sleep, eat. I burned out and was forced to step back for a bit. In my break, I realized that it wasn’t just burnout — I’d been bracing for change I knew I didn’t have control of. I felt it coming & was trying to regulate.

A #haunted swamp cemetery in Louisiana.

The abandoned Hecla Mine in the Idaho Panhandle. Dynamite explosion remnants & open mining entrances resulted in this creepy canyon being a recent Superfund site for contaminated water. Many reports of paranormal phenomena including Sasquatch, UAP’s and ghosts, have been reported in the area.
