Bluesky has plenty of birds, flora, fungi, and mammal photos, especially rodents, but not enough pictures of fish, imo. Here's a Hood Canal salmon from WA Fish & Wildlife.

Another step in restoring their native ecosystems, the Confederated Colville Tribes has re-introduced pronghorns, aka "antelope". As a kid on the Plains, I loved watching the pronghorns watch me. They're very inquisitive creatures.

The North Cascades from Highway 20, 11/13/25, by WSDOT. SR 20 re-opened yesterday as the weekend precipitation was mainly rain instead of snow, so low avalanche danger for now. It will close for the winter soon, so see it now or not until late spring.
