We used to think that the common octopus (Octopus vulgaris) was single, widely distributed species. As it turns out, they are of a species complex, although we have yet to figure out exactly how many species belong to this complex. (So far, at least 6) #OCTOtober

Little Egret (Egretta garzetta): This 65cm (26in) species of Egret is native to Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia.
