Today we commemorate the 298 victims who were on board of flight #MH17 eleven years ago today. We won't forget.

Today, Latvia mourns the victims of the Holocaust. On 4 July 1941, Riga's Choral Synagogue was burned during the WWII. The Embassy joins in the commemoration by laying flowers at the memorial stone to the victims of the Holocaust and at the monument to Latvian saviors of Jews🕯️

Happy Europe Day! Today we mark the anniversary of the 'Schuman Declaration', a historic proposal made by Robert Schuman in 1950. It laid the foundation for European cooperation. Schuman's proposal is considered to be the beginning of what is now the European Union.
