Just finished Johnny Marr's autobiography. Two cool things I didn't know - when he went to NY to sign The Smiths to Sire Records, the label let him buy a Gibson 355. He took it back to the hotel and promptly wrote Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now and Girl Afraid. And later he became a marathoner!

We have been going to a local Christmas choir concert for the last few years, and they always sing This Christmastide by Donald Fraser. No matter how many times I hear it, at the very end there is a haunting Bm chord with a 9-8 suspension. That C# gets me every time.

Anyone tried these strings? I just put a set on my Kenny Hill and still trying to adjust to them. No sqeaking is great but they are a little dull compared to my usual Savarez 540R with carbon trebles. #classicalguitar
