I have so many issues with Cronos and how it handle difficulty. The game is very unforgiving but because of this I died enough that I just don’t care so I just run around sometimes get surprised and die but I’m never worried about it.

I have this very big problem with hard games where because I already know I can get through and it’s designed for me to get through the senssasion of “challenge” is never there. When I get used to die the danger is also gone and at this point I just don’t care anymore…

Also, can we talk about the absolute banger that the hell is us soundtrack is ? Like what the heck happened with “Loss Of Control In Ecstasy” ?!

I’m having such an amazing year in games. After so many years of being unconvinced I started to believe I started to loose interest in the medium. My heck, Hell Is Us is so incredible 😭

I just tried coffee. Which I haven’t tried for a very long time and I hate it. The drink itself it low tier and now I feel dizzy, sick, exhausted and I can’t sleep while my body process the thing. I also underestimated how long the effects lasts.

I have many problems with the game but it’s very hard to overstate how facinating hell is us is. It has some way of doing its narrative design that is nothing short of amazing.

From where I stand, cars are a thing of the past we culturally hold to as a force of habbit and « robotaxi » are like nikotine vapes for trying to rehab from car addiction. From where I stand north america is the one behind.

Started Hell is us and I got to the point with culture as a whole where I can’t help but think “why protagnoist white dude?… white dude boring” when I start something new.

I want to tell konami that I was interested to discover the series through MGS Delta but I’m certainely not going to buy a remake for 70€ (retail) 80€ (playstation store). And there is too much stuff releasing for me to want to comeback to it if/when it gets lower. It will just be a pass.

It looks like my instinctive and visceral repulsive feeling toward windows has led me toward finding more comfortable to play at siggraph interactive framerate low settings on mac rather than on my high end machine.

Despite reputation, the C++ code I've seen in my life tend to be simpler on average than the C# code. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because C++ peeps tend to be very complexity averse or maybe because it kind of boils down to "I fetch the data, I process the data".

If I were a good 2D artist I would have made a quick sketches of Astridr and Senua being lesbiab together. Unfortunately I learned 3D and that would be very very long to do.
