Section 31 is horrible. Section 31 is supposed to be dark, dangerous, the gritty underbelly of Starfleet. What Paramount gave us was a bad cross between Guardians of the Galaxy and Suicide Squad. At least those two films were mildly humourous and somewhat entertaining. Section 31 was neither. 👎

More cool news. My Gothic story, "What Happened to Mrs Eleonora Valdemar", first published in American Monsters Part 2, has been picked up for repulication in Masque & Maelstrom: The Reluctant Exhumation of Edgar Allan Poe, an anthology from Jayhenge Publishing. 👍

I won 2nd place in the Nova award contest for short fiction 2024, for my story, "The Stars Must Wait". It's a tribute to Zamyatin's classic novel, We. The judge says, quote, "A fascinating tribute to the classic that inspired it. True to the original in style and tone" end quote. Happy dance. 👍

In my opinion, this was arguably the best British magazine I ever subscribed to. Every issue was varied and exciting to read. It never disappointed. If I had a New Year's wish, it would be that Andy Cox resurrected it. Top quality.
