I spent 5 hours yesterday on rewrites on 'Silver & Garlic'. I had an idea when I wrote the first draft to include a character from a different story I wrote, but she just didnt fit as a permanent member of the main characters.

I have tomorrow off from my jobjob and I think I have to restructure the end of Silver and Garlic again. I have a solid idea for the second book, but it requires a little bit of set up; which means some changes to the current version. But I think they'll make the story more interesting. We'll see.

When I say I've improved as a writer in the last several years, I wasn't kidding. Comparing the final version of the original short story 'Wolves in the Ice' vs Second draft of new Dreadful novel that folds that story into it's first chapter.

And we finally have the final, text version of Issue 2 of The BulletProof Ghost! The reflection of the future and the grocery store are directly influenced by both Boonville and Tennyson, Indiana of my youth.

I just removed quite a bit of dialogue from the Sister's Keeper chapter of Dreadful: Of Wolf and Gods. It literally explains the plot of Scarlet Sheets, which is now the third chapter of this novel. I hope the improvements in the novel will make it rereading these portions. #booksky #horror
