she's not keen on that idea no matter what , so she'll choose the smarter option for now . " you'll have to be more specific . what do you want to know ?" there's information that she'll part with rather easily , if only because it's something to be learned from someone else .

" what do you want me to say ?" she snaps back rather quickly . " i have no intentions of running around telling everyone about how skilled you are with a blade . and i'm not going to try to take you in a fight , either ." she'd get laid out in seconds for even thinking about it .

she doesn't have an answer for that . she's just gotten lucky , that's all . at least , that's all she tells herself it is . her background certainly isn't anything impressive .

" fine ." she tries to relax again , even if she's still at risk of finding a knife somewhere she doesn't want it . clarissa isn't a soldier in the slightest , and if she knew that's how he handled things , she would honestly feel bad for those under his command .
