Had to fix the viewfinder display of my new to me Nikon F90X, the little prism got knocked loose. So I glued it back in. The tape holds 15kg/1m and I used 2 pieces 7x4mm, so it’s glued with 46g. The prism weighs 1.7g and it’s held on 3 sides by the case. I would call it a permanent fix.

So, the update to the experiment with my dad: This is the one he got for me. He was so interested himself, that he bought two copies, so he can read one too. My dad, 57, just started to read Mangas lmao

A week of planning, waiting patiently, came to full realization on Friday with what can only be described as the best intro ever to my stream.

My dad is in Leipzig right now and I started an experiment: I told him to visit the manga store and pick one up for me. 3h delay on my train home because of Trainsurfers. Saw them and called the cops. Actually the Bundespolizei, the German equivalent of the FBI. They were trying to climb on top of the engine on the moving train. Overhead wire has 15kV. So instead of 9pm I’m home now, at midnight.

I just learned, that part of my daily commute, pretty much in front of my door, is a Strava segment. It’s 333 meters with a 4% incline. Current KoM time is 28 seconds. Now I need to beat whoever is current record holder. No more commuting speed up there. It’s race time from now on
