O group again. Tonight we actually used the regroup phase. How did we miss it? Well its not a well laid out set of rules, but it is a good set of rules. My surprise best set of rules I have played all year. Need to stop wanting to adapt it for everything thing modernish.

I have always been fascinated by the war in the Pacific. I am blaming these 2 Spectrum games from back in the day. Guadalcanal set the Gold Standard for me of Air/Sea/Land conflict, thrown in with dealing with supplied.

Vicotry at Sea. A very cheap starter set from Claymore has now almost been finished. I've enjoyed painting them and have some more on order. Darker hulls, lighter decks for the Japanese.

Tonight was the first chance to play Chain of Command. My German machine gun team rolled a lot of 6s, resulting in 17 hits on a unit!

Last night was a defeat for sure, but this wonderful board was brought along to the club.

Black Powder tonight Epic ACW. It was my worst defeat ever. 55 mins a 650-point gane was over. A broken brigade and damage across my line. My command roles were atrocious, and we just never managed to get a battle lien together.

Well last week I played my first Vampire Larp in at least a decade. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Will I be back? Yes. 'Superfly' Jimmy Riddle. Caitiff fixer and club owner will be back!

Bloodfeud Vampire mega game, despite some last minute cancellations we still had a great time. Looking forward to the next one.

Last nights game, Warmaster. Mt High Elves ran out for the first time against a new player with Ogres. 1500 points. A final drawn combat pushing both sides apart, only my Eagles were behind the enemy won me the game. I was only 1 hit away from breaking also.

Today has been day 1 of Leipzig. For us it's been a good day as the French/Polish forces. We've killed twice the amount we have lost and only lost 1 of 3 villages. Tomorrow promises more slaughter.
