...How has it been a week since our First Ultimate Geek Quiz already? 😱 Congratulations to the team "Four Aces & A Joker" who came in 1st place with 53/70 & walked away with a slew of Dragonbane goodies fromFree League Publishing.

We ran our 1st quiz night. Loads of fun, energy, and a room full of people connecting. One response really stood out, “They were prepared, understanding of and provided support for non-mobility disabilities.” That matters. Because inclusivity shouldn’t be exceptional. It should be the standard.

Thanks to Jangling Space, who have donated something very unique as a prize for our event - some stained glass for your nerd room wall! Jangling Space are a collective based in Shawlands which runs classes to help teach people how to make their own stained glass pieces.

On Monday 9th February we aren't just running the First Ultimate Geek Quiz - we're also holding a raffle! We just had too many prizes for one quiz, so now you can spend £2 a ticket and get a chance at some further goodies. (George)

Its Halloween, and we’ve all heard stories about black cats mysterious, magical, a little mischievous. But at CCC, we can’t help wondering, what stories do black cats tell about us? Every story has more than one side. Every voice has a tale to share even the ones watching quietly from the shadows.

We’re Critical Chance Collective (CCC) based in Glasgow. We use storytelling and creativity to connect people. We partner with charities and community groups and support wellbeing, build skills, and strengthen communities.

I was walking around Edinburgh with the friend who inspired me in my collaborative storytelling. We stopped at the same moment, and took a photo. It’s not just an outline of a door painted on a wall — it’s a portal to a story. That’s the kind of magic we create at Critical Chance Collective.

If you are in Govan, we will be heading along to this tonight. We also have a special story prepared.

We attended the Southside SOUP. The pitch didn’t win, but we made some new exciting connections. Inclusive Homework Group won who sound amazing as well as the pitch from Work Alchemy. The next SOUP is Thursday 6th November at the brilliant Kinning Park Complex.

Back from Tabletop Scotland – great catching up with old faces and meeting plenty of new ones. Delighted at how warmly our mission with Critical Chance Collective was received. Excited for the future and the collaborations ahead!
