I'm not a "real" artist. I'm a philosopher. I'm going to exact a new strategy for art going forward that will privilege this distinction. I need a bigger outreach with a bigger following count if I want to make a meaningful impact in people's lives. I revoke my own right to draw for myself.

There's something AI artists are right about: art needs to be easier, just not through shortcuts or tech. We need to build a world that paves the road to art for everyone. Culture and laws must encourage and fortify art as a divine rule of life equivalent to our devotion for God.

Coming out of the shadows to say I actually fucking LOVE the Star Fox redesigns and I think the idea that all animal characters should be appealing and clean and ideal is wrong. More interesting art can be made when you allow animal characters to be uncanny. Okay back to the grind.

I am entering a threshold in my artwork where detectors think that my art is machine-generated, and I now observe a weird tension between the pursuit of mastery and anti-AI discourse.

If your objective is mastery, be weary of art videos/tutorials that are popular (hundreds of thousands of views or more). Quality information is challenging to digest and will work against an algorithm that privileges mass-appeal content, and you are not representative of the average artist.

I'm cleaning up my feed and am only going to be following accounts that post media that align *exactly* with my goals. This means I'm going to be unfollowing a lot of my friends. Please do not take this personally. If we've interacted before, I would like to keep interacting.

I know exactly what I need to do to get my art to where I need it to be. The next twelve months will be some of the most intense grinding I have ever done. There is a great risk of overaccumulating dishonesty but I have faith in my techniques to temper it. Or... I hope I can, at least.

I *will* get good at art, whatever it takes. I have spent thousands of hours and I will spend thousands more, day after day. I will obtain everything I want and more.
