Yep totally true. I know my neighbors will show up way faster than police. We have found missing dogs, deescalated situations, and connected people with needed resources in addition to trying to get ICE to follow the constitution.

Most frustrating student conversation. Student didn't finish test on time (designed to take 1 hour, gave them 2 hours). Student just goes on and on about they know it but just need more time. Actual problem is student used AI to do all their homework for the unit and hasn't actually learned anything

Nice to see Minneapolis actually enforcing laws. I can't tell you the number of times we had ICE vehicles illegally parked in our neighborhood blocking intersections or fire hydrants or school fire zones.
