I am glad that this discussion went beyond our workshop. It's important to reflect on why we study things in one way or another, but it shouldn’t be a source of discouragement.

This is a very cool preprint articulating a lot of important considerations re: the way we think about “naturalistic” behavior in (sys) neuro.

Love this - it reflects many things that I had thought about and debated heatedly with others. I will print this out for future arguments. 🧐
