The opening act was Intervals, an instrumental progressive metal band. While they sounded really good, I sometimes kinda missed some vocals to zhuzh it up a little.. Ah well, can’t have it all! ^^

Another concert this evening. Karnivool! For sure one of my current favourite bands! <3 Some old songs and some new songs from their latest album released last february. Could. Not. Stand. Still. I had such a good time seeing them with @noway2.bsky.social !

Another concert tonight! This time it was HENGE! Electronic madness from out of space! Thoroughly enjoyed this.. Very entertaining! Certainly nothing I’ve ever seen before, but would not mind more of! <3 We all can use a little bit of sillyness every now and then.

Oof, one of those mornings where my back’s hurting from sleeping in a weird position, my muscles are aching from kickboxing training last wednesday and my head’s hurting from the wines and beers last night. The trifecta of aches..

The Nirvana Unplugged In New York album just hits on a different core level.. It’s warm, comforting and deeply emotional. Makes my heartstrings vibrate.

Not me testing out two little LED lights I bought yesterday by putting them in the usb ports, turning them on, holding them up to my chest and shouting NIPPLE LIIIIIGHTS.. Nuh uh, not me. >.>

Saw Project Hail Mary tonight! Yes! It was what I hoped it would be! They kept true to the book and did a good job! Maybe threw in a tad too much humor where they could not incorporate the main character’s thoughts, but the movie carries itself well. I am happy! Go see it! Good movie!

In Austria for wintersports with work. I can’t recommend flying off the rödelbahn (toboggan) track. I flew down a 4 meter drop and landed onto the skiing slope next to the rödelbahn track. I went left, my sled went right, but I walked away unscathed.

Saw Dara Ó Briain’s live last night! A really enjoyable show! Fun to see how instant his improvisation can be when questioning the front row. Good times were had. <3

In case anybody at #NFC2026 sees this bag, it is mine. it was stolen/taken from the Temperance hotel luggage room.. 40x25x20 centimeters. Had personal items of mine in there.

Having my carry-on bag stolen out of the luggage room from the hotel was not how I would have wanted an otherwise great #NFC2026 to end.. Yet here we are. Headphones, camera and e-reader gone. Police report is filled in. Gonna see how insurance deals with this. Now on my way home.

Laying in the bathtub zoning out on slow spa music, yet every other song that fades in or out has me briefly thinking of the Brian Eno Windows 95 startup sound..

Nope. Not a fan. They try to be so edgy, but it lost all possibility to be able to connect to the movie. Very sad.. Surprisingly, Leto seemed to do his best to make the movie something! The rest just made it fall flat.

Halfway through Tron: Ares.. UUUGHHH, this movie is suuuch a shitshow.. What. A. Drag.

Signed up for half year of kickboxing lessons! Had my first one this evening! It’s so nice to just turn off the brain and completely focus on punch, hook, uppercut, kick.. I ab-so-lute-ly -hate- planking though.

Loving the weird roles Daniel Radcliffe takes on over the years.. Watched ‘Weird’ last week and watched ‘Swiss Army Man’ this evening. Both great films in their own unique genre.

Band of the evening is.. Jinjer! Holy heck.. What a throat on that lady.. From clean vocals to downright heavy grunt! Impressive! <3 A powerhouse of a band! So much energy came off of them. Lovely!

Yeah, okay.. 9 hours in I can say that this game is gonna be fun to play. And the soundscape is so good! Streaming it from my laptop in the office to the little mini-pc hooked up to the livingroom tv, using a controller to play works like a charm! <3

He’s my Skyrim kitty!

Just a hint of snow in The Netherlands earlier today.. An absolute snowfest on the highway. 50km further it was sunny and roads were clear. Weird weather. :) Passenger @woosk.bsky.social was filming.

Spending the last week chilling in Oslo is exactly what I needed. Chatting with friends, dogwalks, good food.. Just having a slow good time to recharge batteries. <3

“You too” is a very normal reply in most cases. Not when the people at the airport gate wish you a happy flight. I derp’d. The “Hah, I wish..” from him made up for it. :P

Finished the game! Thoroughly enjoyable! Glad I chose to do that. Good storyline. I can see why this was a bit of a gamechanger back in 2011.

Gonna be live on Dutch radio this afternoon! Radio 2 asked people to send in memories of music artists. I sent in my memory of the band Skik, with their song ‘Op Fietse’. A song still very dear to me cause they recorded part of the clip on my parents’ farm when I was 11. Grandpa is in it too. <3

The photography course yesterday evening had random little assignments. Including drop photography. Chasing that perfect little moment..

Yeah, I think 4,5 liters of vodka will do.. These were all the homegrown raspberries I had left. :P
