Went backpacking with @straander.bsky.social and @lhet.bsky.social over the weekend, and we lucked out with an alpine lake all to ourselves. 🏕️

Not gunna lie, working on my comic has felt like pulling teeth for the last two years. I’ve gotten tragically good at forcing myself to make things i don’t want to.

Got a health screening done the other day and my bloodwork and stats were, according to the nurse, “really fantastic”. Turns out that “i think im in the best shape ive ever been” feeling has the numbers to back it up 🎉

I really can't recommend familiarizing yourself with the things that live and grow around you enough. It's immediately grounding to be able to recognize individual plants/bugs/animals and have some understanding of their relationship to each other and to you. It makes day-to-day life feel richer

Did a spontaneous backpacking trip along the PCT last night. 🏕️ Highlights included drinking beer on a forest cliffside while watching the full moon rise, and picking endless huckleberries and blueberries on the way there and back.

Had a wonderful time at CFT. Parts of me healed i didn’t even know were broken 💜 Helping with theme camp events and maintaining the bonfire was a joy, and taught me that what i really like doing I’m these events, is being useful~ Really hope to be back next year to contribute even more!
