Anyone have recommendations for chairs? I think what I'm looking for is called a "gamer chair," but I'm sure any nice quality soft chair with foldable arm rests would do wonders for my back... I've been using the same crappy creaky tiny chair at my desk for years, and it's not doing me any favors.

Oh yeah, so I'm finally out of the trenches of school. It was taking up a lot of my time, but it's over at last. Completely. Haven't drawn much since then (there are a small handful of pieces I haven't uploaded yet), but I am looking forward to getting back into it more, now that I have the time.

I swear I was the only student at my university that didn't use AI What was really bizarre was class group chats asking the most basic questions that could easily be found by looking at an announcement or class material. They're just programmed to type questions in instead of looking for answers.

I hope there will be some kind of strong art community that emerges from all this in some way. I considered some kind of a penpal situation with mutuals, but there’s the issue again of giving personal info to make it happen, as well as the environmental cost of shipping things. And other stuff.

I am not officially verifying my ID online and neither should you. You should at the very least be uncomfortable and realize just how important your personal information is. What is being pushed is not right. It’s about control, loss of autonomy, and it should not continue to be normalized.

Don’t know how much time we have before everything’s compromised but I wanted to ramble. First sending out a thank you to everyone for all the support and fun over the years. There have always been dangers on the internet, but I managed to have such a fun time sharing my art and seeing others’ work.

Finally getting around to uploading the icons I finished earlier this month, for last month's festivities. Just two this time, as life's been very interesting and busy as ever, but I shall continue this endeavor yearly.

I think everyone should be a theatre technician or at least be involved with it for a moment of their life. If you love concerts, conventions, music, art—really any kind of event that exists, you should consider being a part of it. I feel like there is a place in it for anyone.

I was taken to this pottery painting place as a Christmas gift activity, and this blank turtle nightlight just looked like a pie to me, so I willed it into existence

Glad to say that I haven’t experienced in a while the situation of being too sad to do anything, but I’ve noticed that I now get days where I somehow get too excited/happy to do anything as well. Huh

I regularly rent DVDs from my library, occasionally print documents there, and it's a good place for me to get focused when working on assignments. I also used to join in the free activities when I had the time. Below is a little clay bowl I made with them last year.

I remember saying if the other site crashes down, I won't be moving or anything and would just want to disappear from social media But I find this site very cozy and usable. I can see myself using it when I'm able—though I wonder what I'd use it for, seeing as I rarely make postable things anymore.
