I have an update that I really did not want to make. With everything going on, I am focused on this and only this. It is not the update I wanted to bring to you but here it is.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality. And trans lives are grounded in reality. We see y'all. No matter what.

Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

Keeping up with some discourse on the other site due to work has given me some interesting perspective. - Discourse was bad, but it's gotten far worse. - People would rather be louder than be constructive or introspective. I don't know if I could ever go back full-time.

I will never understand how notion gets keyboard navigation wrong. Not just wrong, but super wrong. Press the down arrow in a code block? Does not go down one line, jumps to out of the block and down a line Want to select lines of text? Cmd-shift-down moves the selected block down below.

I don't live in NYC, but I guess the "algorithm" thinks I do. I've been getting a lot of Mamdani related content. I like the cut of his jib. Does the thing that most Dems don't do: actually bring people together and does something with that.
