I cannot think of a more boring FA Cup final than Man City v Chelsea. #facup

Chelsea and Man City in the FA Cup final. No other English clubs have systematically ignored, bent or broken the rules like both have done. In terms of trophies won, no other English clubs have been as successful over the past decade and a half either. The moral of the story - is that there is none.

No sporting event in the world gets me as emotional as the #LondonMarathon. Ordinary people doing something extraordinary for countless good causes. I was lucky enough to run it in 2021 and have been every year since as a supporter. I’ll keep entering the ballot for as long as my legs allow.

Last night was one of the best #bhafc performances I’ve seen in my 40+ years as a fan. If you want to read about the many years when we were even worse than Chelsea were last night, you can pre-order my book now. It follows Albion up and down the divisions, through the hard times and the good.

I was wrong. They were as appalling in the second half. The worst team we've played this season. Outfought, out-thought and outplayed all over the pitch, Take nothing away from #bhafc though, what a magnificent performance. How on earth do you pick a player of the match? Gross? Kadioglu? Van Hecke?

My concern… and probably yours too… is that we should’ve put the game to bed by now, because it’s surely not possible for Chelsea to be as appalling in the second half. #bhafc

Not a vintage performance but the team showed real fighting spirit and the subs came up with two lovely finishes. It was an absorbing contest and I think a point was probably a fair result. Nice little bit of shared applause between the fans and De Zerbi at the end too. #bhafc

I went to my first ever #bhafc match 40 years ago today. Peterborough in the FA Cup. Dean Saunders with the only goal. Forty years! Where has the time gone? I wonder how many games I’ve been to since. Life’s too short to try to work it out, so I’ll just say “a lot”.

Am I the only one who thought a late Forest equaliser was INEVITABLE? So relieved to be proved wrong. Not the best performance in the second half (first half was very good) but the players showed real fighting spirit to get over the line. #bhafc
