When I was training for this year's half-marathon, a cyclist noticed me and asked me a few specific questions for how far I was training for, and how fast I plan to finish. I bumped into him today during a run. Turns out he's a former elite athlete runner, and gave me his contact details.

Felt full of energy and kicked some serious ass today. 6 days till I participate in the half-marathon race at the Manitoba Marathon. Felt comfortable during this run when reaching this time in the last two years left me feeling like garbage for 36 hours.

Playing the complex finale ahead of next weekend's livestream piano concert by heart without making any errors after my morning exercises was an excellent way to start the day.

I’ve officially registered for the half-marathon event at the 2025 Manitoba Marathon. It’s pretty fun knowing that I easily qualify at the top tier for starting positions, right after actual athletes. My personal best is 7+ minutes faster than the 1h 40m required for it.

Second outdoor run of the year and I achieved the half-marathon distance (13.1 miles, 21.1 km). Not bad at all. Looking to try to do that on a somewhat regular basis, see if it makes it easier to possibly speed up later on. T minus 2 months till race day.

Vore meet was fun this week! I've been more consistent with going recently. Ran into my very tasty fox friend @vincerrenard.bsky.social and had fun talking and teasing. They are a lean sexy snack and for sure belongs in my stomach~

Ran for a bit over 9 miles for my first outdoor run of the year and am feeling pretty good. Optimistic for the half-marathon I'm training for in June. I'll try to be able to comfortably run the full distance as my strategy this year, instead of focusing on speed in shorter distances.

There's a certain satisfaction with playing a piece of music by heart for the first time from beginning to end without looking at any notes. That realization of "Wait...I got this. I don't need the notes now."

Raving the night away

Getting ready to do some partying tonight. Feeling much more confident with attending a rave at a club now compared to when I was a young adult.

Looking forward to attending my first furry rave tomorrow! 😄 I've attended similar events while on vacation but this will be the first time I do this locally. It feels pretty cool knowing that two of the DJs for this show attended the last furry poker night I hosted. 😎

Vancouver's the last major Canadian city I haven't been in, and I'm excited to visit this summer but goddamn the hotel pricing is worse than Paris, France...

Looks like the armband I use for jogging can be used to carry items at the first furry rave I'll attend next weekend. Feeling confident enough to go shirtless with a pup mask with some fun underwear. Photos will be shared with the PROTEIN collar being worn.
