The state of the world weighs heavier on me today. Everything is so raw. I want people to find peace but we will never have peace.

Ever since I wrote my article titled: "Mourning Public Health" I have been more raw in my emotions. More angry. Usually I am numb and focused on survival. Getting that out there was outside of my comfort zone and feels not worth it, as so few people read what I have to say.

I’ve been stuck at 4,956 followers for a long time. I would love to see that number round up to 5k! lol.

They needed to go yesterday. The whole fucking lot of them.

The pollen season was so bad this year, our province put out a warning during the winter. It was the first time I had to take antihistamines for a solid spell (5 months) or my face swelled up.

I haven’t had a known case and I know I don’t want it. Respirators just make sense with climate change, poor indoor air, worsening pollen season, covid, flu, and people who wear an entire bottle of perfume!

While P100 masks are extra effective in protecting you, N95 and KN95 are the best for community care (plus the bonus that they're easier to breathe in)!

In other news due to #methylation issues I need to intentionally add more folate rich foods which means beans 🫘 are going back in my diet, slowly. I tolerate beans very well and find that black beans improve my motility and BM experience better than lettuce or zucchini. #MCAS

The risk is fairly low (but nothing is 100% risk free) when a layered approach is used to mitigate the risk of disease spread. I provide excellent unscented cleaning agents (Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide, Isopropyl alcohol) as well so we have both Airborne germs and fomites covered!

The fans will blow that out and bring in the fresh air. Hallway sits at below 500ppm 24/7 as it's where the fresh air intake for the HVAC is, which is always on high. (I make sure of this).

That is my medical saga for the day. I am not unhappy, just kind of amused. Everyone was nice on the phone today. They picked up very quickly. Plus, I learned a bit more about how insurances deal with medication claims and who governs all of that, so that will be beneficial to my clients. :)

4. For pre-auth at the end of the first year of this med, I just have to have my doctor send in documentation 3 days before the pre-auth is due to expire. So on 9/22 they will send the info over and do pre-auth again, I should be fine.
