Took myself somewhere new today, and walked the Carntogher Way (Slí an Chairn) in the Sperrins. A straightforward loop steeped in history, with the most beautiful views for miles - this is of the High Sperrins from the Emigrants’ Cairn near the summit of Carntogher Mountain.

Our parents’ book group recently met to discuss You are Here by David Nicholls & Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton. Popular choices, as both averaged high marks out of ten from the group! Our next meeting will be at the end of the summer term, with three books on the list for discussion.

Over the last fortnight Years 8-10 have looked at and discussed books in their library periods, and created some year group reading shortlists! They now have until mid-May to read & review as many books as possible in order to win points - and a break time treat for their class!
