103 years ago today the Supreme Court ruled South Asians couldn't be citizens bc we weren’t “white persons.” Sound familiar?

This SCOTUS ruling is the latest reminder: when this administration oversteps, the courts can stop them. Trump's illegal tariffs crushed American businesses — mid-sized companies paid 3x more in 2025, with those costs landing directly on working families.

Thrilled at the energy at the @denverdemocrats.org forum. We face big challenges, but I know we have the courage and conviction to solve them. Still, it will take a lot more than rhetoric and lofty goals to get us there.

Trump wants to “nationalize” elections in 15 states. That’s one way to win when your policies are failing. The Constitution protects us against power grabs like this. If he tries it in Colorado, we’ll see him in court.

This fight is personal. And across the state, Coloradans showed up to make it clear: we won’t back down when someone comes for our rights and our values.
