I had a dream I was at a convention with @izzyspinkitoe.bsky.social and Con would be attending. But I was covered in mud for some reason. And we had no soap or shampoo and couldn’t find any in the hotel shop and I was losing it because I’d have to see Con while absolutely disgusting.

I actually LIKE when art is imperfect. I’m not talking majorly off. But little things. Lines not perfectly straight. Lighting a little off. Clothes being a shade too light or dark. It shows we’re human. We’re focusing on the enjoyment of making the art, and not perfection.

If I can afford holiday cards this year, is anyone interested?

Procreate users! 911! Several pieces just disappeared and I don’t know how or why! Including a commission WIP! It crashed. I opened it again. And at least 6 things were gone! Tried restarting the app and my iPad, and checked for updates. Nothing!

Note to self: Paper texture screen protectors are NOT for me. And now I’m stuck with it because I already opened it and can’t afford a tempered glass one. I feel like I’m rubbing sandpaper when my stylus touches it.

So at what point do I have to look into… I don’t know, someone higher up? I tried contacting my attorney Wednesday for an update. No reply. Tried again today. Nothing. I was told all parties signed and once that happened, my old job had 3 weeks to pay. It’s been over a month.

Working on a piece for my friends birthday that just so happens to also coincide with tomorrows theme for #OurFlagMeansFall2025. It’s perfect 😂 I’d asked over a month ago what they want art wise. Their birthday is in a few days. But I should have it done sometime tomorrow!

I love how I’m always in half an hour early to handle shit at work like opening registers and packing orders. Others come in late every day. I leave 5 minutes early because I have no choice but to walk home in the cold and snow with no jacket, and I can see the annoyance that I’m leaving now 🙃
