i think a good feature for this site to have would be a spoiler feature where it blurs/hides not just the images but also the text w a tag like "tv show/movie spoiler" that users (not bsky mods) could apply ourselves. it would greatly benefit the spoiler yappers like me 🙂.

SPOILER s1's highest point imo is hei & misaki's date. due to circumstances, they're pitted against each other. but in ep23, the anime shows a glimpse of how they might've been like if things were different, & that there's a silent desire shared by them & us to see that world.

in hindsight, hwoarang isn't that complicated. but i won't forget the time when browsing his movelist, it went to "right stance" & thought it'll just be 4 or 6 moves like other stances. then i continued & realized "damn, this game is rly giving me another moveset to memorize".

unlike most stories abt discrimination where the strategy is to either paint a black & white or equal conflict, the anime delivers a general argument that humans are unpredictable agents thus shouldn't be compartmentalized by systems & culture. underrated anime, would recommend.

i think one underrated thing we lost in video games are the menu navigation sfx that sounded like bells or string echoes. nowadays it's just a small percussive tick to sound as inoffensive as possible but the style & audiovisual presence of menus were lost in the process.
