Video games have never been more fulfilling as a hobby for me as it is now. There’s so many cool titles I want to play and the only thing that’s limiting me is time.

I'm both dreading and looking forward to playing Sekiro. it was always the game I expected to like the least, but I've come to have some morbid fascination with the idea of pure distilled Souls combat. Considering my experience with BB and DS3 I'm assuming I won't like it, but who knows!

I think there's an interesting dynamic with co-op in Dark Souls, where as the host, you don't want to feel like you're getting carried by your summon, so you fight riskier than you should. Which is silly, because everyone loses if they die! And phantoms are there to help you. I *want* to carry you!

Another time I got summoned by a shirtless pyromancer called Yugoslavia. Later on, me and another summon is whooping the boss, only to see that this fucking guy is just sitting flat on his ass in the corner not doing jack. 10/10 no notes.

I’ve been moaning a lot about Bloodborne, but I got to admit that after finishing my second run and wrapping up the optional bosses and DLC content, I’m actually itching to play more. Kinda sad it’s over.

Considering how cool and bespoke the trick weapons are in Bloodborne, it’s wild how obscure they are to acquire.

Apparently there’s a large crowd of people complaining about Circe’s design not being “faithful” and I want claw my eyes out.

Having some trouble with the optional bosses in Bloodborne and looking them up online, people are stating suggested level-ranges of 70-90. And I’m still in 60s, so either people exaggerate or I’ve been playing this game severely underleveled.

I know this is an contrarian take, but of the Souls games I've played so far Bloodborne feels like it has the worst gamefeel. It's rough, because everything about the game is so cool and evocative. The design and look of the game is excellent, but it's just not as fun for me to play.
