The combat is still RPS like the previous games which is to be expected. They are at least attempting to spice things up with the introduction "feral" monsters. Moves cost stamina now which is just MP and refills over time. Feels like they are trying to adapt the rest of MH's mechanics in RPG form.

Finally got around to doing Omega Planetes in MH Wilds. Been awhile since I've played XIV, but hearing eScape still gets me hype.

lumines arise is one of the best games I've played all year; it's rare we get legacy sequels that legitimately move the original engine forward. despite being lukewarm on tetris effect, the way arise leverages both the unique audiovisual concept and the meter mechanics really shines. link below!
