You may be able to bend the big fan leaves down and hook them into place, behind/underneath the new growth. So, the new growth is on top and the fan leaves look like the plant is miffed (see gif .. her hands symbolize the fan leaves, you bend down .. her arms symbolize the stems).

I went to Inos Tacos in La Grange Park, IL yesterday. The place is 100% gluten free and delicious. Everything there is made from scratch. They started serving these giant burritos! The tortilla was incredibly flavorful. It reminded me of the outer shell of a taco salad.
