I don't know how will this expansion end, but if spent this entire time constantly foiling all of Xal'Atath's plans, constantly making her fail in everything, just for her to still win in the end... It will feel awful.

We delved into the underground of Azeroth, we saw the Old God's corruptions spreading from an unknown source, we saw Xal'atath claiming it was her own blood, we saw the baddies weaponizing it... And we decided to forget about that and go off to kill Defias bandits in Arathi.

So, TWW's story so far has been we started the expansion with visions of Azeroth and the big question "what is the point of the sword", that is left behind. the nerubians, arathi, harranir and earthen are completely forgotten after the first raid.
