Has anyone had luck with digital scales? I stepped on Jen's scale and it read 223.2lbs which I thought was too much. So I stepped on again 217.4. Which is correct? I stepped on and off it a few more times and the readings were from 217.0 to 218.2 This isn't the first digital scale to do this to me

I never watched all of the X Files. I am currently on season 8 episode 9 called Salvage with Robert Patrick who played a metal humanoid or man in T2. He is currently commenting in the episode about a metal man only being in movies. I can only imagine they are intentional references.

A new idea to show how a billion is a crazy amount of money and makes it more personal. Take the largest check you ever got. For example mine was $12,868 (1 yr of backpay) x 365 = $4,696,820/yr. Then $1,000,000,000 ÷ $4,696,820/yr = 212 years. Check x 365 = $y $1 billion ÷ $y = yrs to make a billion

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

If you haven't looked at Luna tonight I recommend doing so whenever you have a few minutes to admire her. Take your time and bask in the magic that is in her Milky glow.

Hey #birders. My Dad who lives in Big Bear California says he saw 40ish Bald Eagles of various ages (some had white heads and some didn't) kettling over his house. I have never heard of this and I thought they only hung out in pairs.

I didn't have enough heavy cream to make this batch of ice cream (about 1/2 cup short) so I added some melted butter to it. OMG this buttercream frosting ice cream is so good. I am going to use butter in the next ice cream batch to see if it has the same effect. #dessert #icecream #homemade
