If you work in a medical facility, or are visiting one, wear a damn mask. I’ve been seeing Drs, lab tests, ultrasound and you’d be shocked how few people were wearing them. The phlebotomists put them on because of me. I’m now sick but vaxxed for flu, covid and pneumonia so 🤞this isn’t too bad.

Hot tip: Classico pasta sauce is buy 2 get 3 free at Safeway right now. Keep it in your back stock because pasta is the best. Add more seasonings and stuff to make it taste better if needed. I put cooked lentils in it for a kick of protein with my pasta.

I’ve been in a Rx for a very long time. I won’t say which. I have noticed a difference with one manufacturer but nobody believes me, except for other people with the same dx on the same drug. I used to be able to specify I won’t take that manufacturer but I can’t anymore. 1/2

Vegan holiday dinner: Lentil shepherds pie, mashed potatoes, stuffing, Tofurky gravy and cranberry orange sauce. Serious carb coma but so good. I cooked for myself so I have so much leftovers. Future dinner!

I had planned on getting my balcony lights up and do some pre Thanksgiving day cooking. Instead I grabbed my camera and took a lot of photos of ducks. The Red-tailed hawk made an appearance too. Editing in progress.

The #BirdOfTheDay theme today is #OnTheEdge, any bird at the edge of a body of water. This is a heron that I knew several years ago. He hung out on this river along with a bald eagle pair.

The result of my Dr appointment today is….more blood tests. She’s being very cagey with her thoughts, which makes sense, but it’s annoying. I figured if she was really worried we’d be moving a lot faster on tests.

If we are both in line at the grocery store, each with a full cart, and you start insulting the cashier to me, no. Absolutely not. We both signed up for this. Chill the eff out and relax. We can talk about the weather, or the holiday, but not about the cashier. Don’t be that asshole.

Another reminder to not “research” blood test results before seeing your doctor. Even if they want to see you the day after they read the results. I’m sure everything is fine. It will not be a fun 24 hours waiting, my anxiety is having a great time.

Annoyed the Kraken but at least my tree is up and my snowman is comfy.
