Using Krita as my drawing app and while for the most part it has what I need, but holy cow I have never seen a worse text tool in any program. I’ve had a basically completed piece sitting for hours because I’m still trying to figure out things like “changing the font and text size.” It’s ridiculous

Tweaking Kite's colors a bit (New on left, Old on right). Think Im on a better track now overall. Still not sure on the eyes, what do you think? Have them with whites, or still ruby colored? Or something else entirely? Let me know! .

Honest thoughts on Kite’s current color scheme? I feel like it’s close but maybe not quite there yet. Tried to use photos of luna moths as refs. Am curious to how you maybe imagined him when he was just a sketch?

Another color test, this time using the pencil brush for the lineart. It's a bit rougher, but took a lot lese time (still figuring out all the tools). Have a colored version of Kite wiggling his abdomen in the air. Silly moth

At last! Kite has color! He's based on a luna moth, so i wanted his colors to be close to that. If I feel like tweaking the colors later I may, but this is fairly close to what I imagined. Yay moth boi

Behold! I finally obtained a new drawing tablet! It’s taken a bit to set up, find a suitable drawing program, and figure out just how to use. But i did my first fully digital tablet drawing of Root as practice. Still a ton to learn but i wanna include more digital stuff in the future

cw: vore talk Such a strong desire today to just, be inside another creature. Seeing everything they are just consume you utterly, surrounded by their body and warmth, hearing their muffled heartbeat, as if you’re already a part of them… (am super vorny today)

cw: vore implications “Desire” Guess I’m in a very abstract mood lol. Artistic representation of what both Kite and Root desire, deep down. The moth recognizes itself as prey to the bat, and feels a deep need to be consumed utterly by it.

“Wings” Is this some thought provoking art piece? Or did Kite accidentally crash into Root’s face mid-flight? (Probably the latter ngl) Mostly just wanted to doodle moth wings as a warmup

There was a costume party, and Kite had a brilliant idea…. (Silly doodle I just had to draw to get it out of my head lol. Let’s just hope Kite put some air holes in that clear plastic ball of his)

Couldn’t think of anything to doodle, so opted to do a silly warm up piece of Root and Kite “dancing,” as best as a big bat and tiny moth can at least (Not pictured: Root accidentally flapping his wings too hard and sending Kite hurtling across the room)

Even Root gets a little concerned when his roommate swells up like a tiny watermelon from overeating. Life is much harder for tiny moths when they can’t fly, after all. (Root wants to squeeze that abdomen like a lil stress ball so bad but he won’t cause he’s a nice roommate)

cw: vore POV you somehow managed to shrink down even smaller than a moth, and Kite has swallowed you whole. Now you get to experience the (oddly located) bug stomach, deep in his abdomen. Kite too gets a new experience, not used to live prey in his belly~
