Still working with yarn but using it as embroidery thread to embellish a straw hat I bought in a charity shop. Embroidery isn’t my strong point, but if you squint it doesn’t look too bad!Now it’s finished, it’s ready for some sunshine adventures. ✨🌿🌸☀️🌸🌿✨.

Equinox off my super silent wheel ✨🌀✨a mix of my Albion British blends and Massam. Jen @wee.chickadee spun a lovely yarn from Massam last week and inspired me to try it too ✨🐏✨. I don’t have any more of this colour on Albion but I do on BFL seacell on Etsy and one Massam on Folksy.

I’m slowly getting all the stock listed online ✨🧶✨these are over in my @folksyhq shop and more will be appearing in the next few days ✨🍄✨. The fibre Faery is currently trying to get back up to speed 😽.

m going to make a thing. A circular crochet vest sort of thing, from hand spun. I’ve not quite decided on the pattern, it’s down to two but let’s get these yarns caked whilst we decide. Beautiful British fibres ✨🐑✨ of BFL, Cotswold and a rogue Frankenstein that looks to have everything in it ✨🧶✨

This cowl, finished over the weekend, was knitted from some yarn I spun last year for Tour de Fleece Femmes. The gorgeous autumnal colours, dyed by Debs of @craftycatknittybit.bsky.social, were just perfect for a stitch pattern called Falling Leaves. Second photo shows cowl before blocking.

’ve spun the warp for the scarf and it’s so very cheerful and happy ✨🌹🌼🍄‍🟫🌿🍂✨. This blend of merino, linen and silk always creates such a resilient but interesting yarn. Now to spin the weft ✨🧶✨and then I can warp up and get weaving a new scarf into being.

I’m going to spin Spring this week ✨🌷✨. There has been one day where there was a whiff of it on the air albeit briefly. The light was different and it was a first kiss of what is to come ✨🌱✨. This is destined to be a woven scarf for @thesodburyyarnover in April ✨🧶✨unless I decide to keep it.
