Everyone talks about the American VG History bias with things like the crash or whatever but I was propagandized hard by multiple game history books written in the UK as a kid making me believe Tomb Raider actually mattered and every game ever can be traced back to the ZX Spectrum

Mario Kart World could really use the only two good battle modes from 8DX. I have to assume they're a part of Nintendo's drip-feed pipeline because surely shine thief can't be too hard to implement. They have half of the assets they need in the game already

Last post about the Galaxy movie but it's really funny how the only real identity it has is ripping off Star Wars. Starts in a desert, Princess in distress sends message, Jabba the Wart, Fox Solo, Planet Bowser is a doomsday weapon under construction, sibling plot twist, etc.

Rewatched a bit of the Mario Movie and forgot how messy the Pizzaria scene is. "Okay, I'm going to trust you" "You can't just be scared all the time" "You'd be surprised" And then the whole Foreman Spike dynamic is barely set up. Viewers literally have to read environmental details for context
