Drome by Jesse Lonergan is my pick for comic book and creator of 2025. I was not aware of his work until I saw this beautiful book at SPX. His panel structure and sequential storytelling are the most inspired and unique I have read in decades. I am keeping an eye out for the rest of his work.

A really fantastic month in comic books. All of these were great - I think Garth Ennis and Becky Cloonan’s “The War” just might be my favorite Ennis story and I am glad it got a second chance outside its original anthology release.
