Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, of course. My 2-and-a-half year old grandgirl thought Busta Rhymes was Santa, LOL.

Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be grateful for this year--Mom is hanging in there, my daughter's growing little family, my health (after a small scare recently), my friends and neighbors in my community, my sweet dog who is getting grey but still thinks he's a puppy, and a job I enjoy. Lucky me.

Disgusted to hear of the targeted shooting of National Guard members in DC today. All Americans should unite in condemning and rejecting this violence. Sending prayers to these victims and their families, and thankful to the responders who acted so quickly.

Weather is great today, NE Ohio, get your turkey day errands done now! I'll be cooking a smallish dinner and sharing with my girl and her growing little family! They're staying home, still cocooning after the birth of the newest grandgirl. Nonna delivers!

This is beyond heartbreaking. My husband died from a blood cancer (lymphoma) that presented in brain tumors. That this young mother is battling this awful disease as her cousin RFK Jr. dismantles treatments and research is horrifying. He should be tried for crimes against humanity. Cancer sucks.

Looked in on mom, who is adjusting to rehab, but is also anxious to get out. She enjoys doing the PT at least. She was always that lady at Curves! Now I can relax and enjoy my Sunday. My heart is full, we FaceTimed with my girl and grandgirl and new baby 💕

Annual viewing of Love, Actually happening now. I know it has its issues. I love it anyway.

The Christmas tree goes up today.

Oy. The Ch 3 reporter who cannot enunciate her words strikes again. She said “visual” for vigil, and called the victim “Violent” instead of Violet repeatedly. Please get this person some coaching! Makes me crazy.

So, yesterday was quite the Monday. Mom took a fall, and ended up in the hospital, nothing broken just a deep bruise. She'll be okay. She's resting up. Getting old is brutal.

I cannot tell you how much I do not care about the Browns game today.

Came back from Ytown through the little village where I raised my family. They had it all decorated for Christmas today, and I drove by our old house. I might have been a little teary. Ghosts of Christmas past and all that.

Not quite ready to do full-on Christmas decorations, but the leg lamp comes out today. Frah-GEE-lay!

Babysitting my 2-year old grandgirl tonight. We had a dance party. KC and the Sunshine Band “Shake Your Booty” and ABBA “Dancing Queen” were faves. 🎶💃

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far. So much work remains to be done.

It’s not enough to simply thank our veterans for their service. Millions of them rely on SNAP and the ACA. Many struggle with PTSD and worry about access to mental health services. Today, on Veterans Day, let’s renew our commitment to keep fighting for those who fought for us.

Watched Pluribus on Apple+ last night—wow!!! Crazy good. Creators of Breaking Bad. Has a Black Mirror/Severance feel. But so different. Highly recommend.
