Presently listening to two adult men resolve a heated argument with Rock, Paper, Scissors, best 2 out of 3. Incredible. All heated arguments should be resolved this way.

My opinion is that journals should not allow the use of AI in any peer review context, even “compliant-AI tools.” This is not just because I’m broadly opposed to AI use. It’s a huge waste of time. Just make the authors run it through the “compliant AI” tools. Don’t make AEs find reviewers to do it.

San Fransisco teachers went on strike on Monday over rising health care premiums, closing public schools for more than 50,000 students. The walkout could be a harbinger in California, where teachers unions have made a concerted effort to pressure districts for more compensation.
