One of my best writing challenges was a single-sentence story. First one was horrible, never say the laughter of day, thank goodness for that rejection. Second one was better and taught me that I won’t ever be a quiet writer. Mine required quick pacing and it stuck

I won’t ever forget Simple Minds.

During the meet and greet, I blurted out “I love Spring Cleaning!” Maddie’s eyes lit up and said she wished they could play it. Tell artists you love their work.

I can’t spell it, either. Even put it in as a title of a flash I wrote. Needed spell time each I submitted it. Got it published. Still didn’t take.

I've shied away from audiobooks, due to it likely becoming background noise as I listen at home. But I've had the option on Spotify and started Jessica Simpson's "Open Book" memoir while driving. I was able to get into it while on the expressway. Apparently, moving at 75 mph is what was needed.

First concert of the year: JoJo.

Last week was rough. An acceptance I received this afternoon brightened my day, more so than it usually does.

It’s March. Concert season starts now.

I know who I’m rooting for!
