More BSR posting: For the daily guild challenge missions, I usually use Gin/Aizen/Urahara. The current "meta" team, basically. Today I decided to try Aizen/Szayel/Urahara, since my Aizen is B6/A2/C5 (ie real strong) and holy shit I broke my usual damage record by like 100 million.

Finally beat Slash Trial Tower 23 in BSR after being stuck there for months. And with only one Slash character despite non-Slash characters having a massive 85% damage penalty. Aizen being a B6 monster and Mayuri's ailment buffs were enough to give Kenpachi the boost he needed to get past Nnoitra.

Got Grimmjow in BSR. Pulled for one dupe as well since you've kinda gotta do at least that much for DPS characters. No more than that though since I ain't no whale. Anyway he's quite good, definitely the boost the Strike team needed (though a limited Support is still badly needed to replace SR Nemu)

Outlander is trending and I'm just going to assume everyone is talking about the SNES/Genesis game and do no further research.

Always found it real weird that Bandai Namco used the old Bandai logo usually reserved for toys on the original Dark Souls box art rather than the Bandai Namco logo they typically used for video games.

Fuck man, Diablo II is such a good god damn video game.

So shortly after this, I discovered Sanctuary of Exile, a mod for PD2 (yes, a mod for a mod) that adds further QoL tweaks/loot drop adjustments/endgame features which make the game *much* more single player/offline friendly. So that's what I'm going with now.

Not content with finishing Diablo II Resurrected several times, I have purchased OG Diablo II + LoD (which Blizzard makes VERY difficult in 2026) and installed the Project Diablo 2 mod. Quick first impressions: It's pretty great!

First arcade stick acquired. Taking a bit of getting used to as I was never a big arcade person (just never had one near me), but definitely happy with it so far.

I've never related more to Hiroshi Tanahashi than the time he was asked about Kamen Rider in an interview, replied "Ah, Kamen Rider. I love it", proceeded to sing the TaToBa belt jingle from Kamen Rider OOO, then upon noticing the studio was completely silent, sadly remarked "Oh, nobody knows it."

Ah hell, maybe I'll start a new game in Astlibra. Got what I think is pretty close to the end about three years ago, but that was shortly after launch before the retranslation and various other updates. Might be nice to see what it's like now.
