Messy, abstract, & overly politicized ideas like #nostalgia and #home — can it be an #art #workshop? 24 folks in #Montreal explored this with #burlap by reweaving intentionally. My home was tied up by red/white 🇨🇦 and blue strings 🇹🇭. I reimagined my past more honestly, truthfully, & creatively.

What does nostalgia look like? At a talk I gave today at Tampere University’s OASIS lab, #nostalgia was a collection of leaves marked by people’s definitions. 🍁 They passed their leaves to others, and received a new set; if they agreed— fold once— if they did not — crumple ‘em up!
