Bought and ended up playing 2.5 hours of Marathon last night. I think after about 3 runs I have a good idea of what I'm doing in it now and had fun. I wish more people had mics though, getting a good group that chats and works together is peak gaming.

LOVE ETERNAL was basically content-complete five years ago (porting and localization took a really long time). So for the intended experience, just imagine it’s 2020 while playing

I highly recommend people try to play the game as intended, BUT, if you want to see some of the crazy wacky things the story does I think this is good. I really loved this game and want more people to experience it.

Yeah, I'm stuck listening to music for hours again rather than sleep. I forgot how suffocating Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt is. That droning piano just doesn't allow your soul to breathe during the crescendo and it's fucking insanely powerful.

I still can't believe how perfect of a song American Pie by Don McLean is. That song is one of the best ever created and it isn't even close.

Scott Pilgrim EX was a solid 6 out of 10. I think the more I played it, the more I saw the seems in the gameplay and the less I felt enthralled by the aesthetics, which the game excels in. All the animations, the art, the look, the gaming references are top notch. Consistent battle rooms are not.

I still can't believe Capcom released RE9 without FOV option for first person that doesnt make me want to throw up. I think all RE "should" be in third-person anyways for my preference but I physically can't look at that game in first-person for more than an hour without wanting to puke. Really dumb

Here's a pro-tip for people playing Scott Pilgrim EX solo: Don't be like your uncle Paul here and forget to use and abuse the block/parry and, most importantly, the assists. Those assists made the bosses so much easier. They are a real pain in the ass otherwise.

At the end of Scott Pilgrim EX and I have a lot of thoughts about it, good and bad. I think it's a solid 7/10. Cool game. Can't wait to play through again with people

Although I prefer the linear, old gameplay in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World The Game, Scott Pilgrim EX makes good use of a kinda open world type thing to explore. Game is pretty good. Nothing will beat that first game's music though. Iconic.

Tbh I think the reviews so far are right and REquiem has GOTY potential for sure. I think the speedrun for it is gonna be lit af too due to how open the crafting makes how you go through it

RE9: Game looks incredible. Love being able to do third-person because first person makes me motion sick. Grace sucks with a knife. Leon is hilarious. Grace parts not really fun at all until you get the injector and blood stuff.

The fact that Resident Evil Requiem embargo for streaming the PC version is much, much later than the PS5 version and that DF gave the PS5 version huge props on the quality makes me worried that the PC version is gonna be absolutely dog shit.
