Today, as I was writing my sermon (I use voice notes) I found myself crying as I spoke. My sermon is about hope in the midst of despair and singing a new song. Hope is a very dangerous thing.

My notebook/journal/planner tour: I have a small a6 junk journal that has transitioned into all the kind notes I get from friends/family/community members with some art or stickers or pretty paper or Washi tape. It’s a good place to keep those notes and remember good things.

My mom is gifting our family a trip to either the PNW or Alaska for this summer. Travel is a luxury I rarely indulge in. I’m shooting for PNW because I have some friends up there and whale watching is on my bucket list. I have a cousin who lives in Fairbanks so we may opt for there instead.
